Burning Rival (World)
Burning Rival, released by Sega in 1989, is a vertically scrolling shooter arcade game and a follow-up to Burning Force. This world version continues the fast-paced action of its predecessor, featuring updated graphics, new enemies, and expanded gameplay elements. Players once again control a powerful fighter jet, navigating through diverse and challenging levels. The game maintained the classic shoot 'em up formula of the original while offering improvements and refinements to the overall experience. Sega built upon the success of Burning Force and delivered a title well-received within the arcade scene.
